San Diego Climbing Academy runs a personalized, structured climbing program at The Wall Climbing Gym. SDCA focuses on movement literacy and community.
Whether you are brand new to climbing or trying to break through your climbing plateau, this program adapts to you. Practices are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings at The Wall Climbing Gym.
COMMUNITY TEAM OPTIONS
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 to 7:30 PM at The Wall Climbing Gym, Vista CA.
All plans include
- Year-round personal coaching
- Practice environments by SDCA setters
- Hands-on coaching and immediate feedback

MEET YOUR COACHES
SDCA coaches bring decades of combined experience, from coaching first-time climbers all the way to National Champions and World Cup competitors. Both coaches are based here at The Wall.
David Reis
14 years climbing, 9 years coaching, from first-time climbers to National Champions and World Cup competitors. David leads all SDCA programs with an emphasis on long-term growth, technical mastery, and psychological development.

Head elite coach and master's candidate in kinesiology. Marco specializes in individualized training plans and creative exercises that help climbers break through plateaus. His background spans trad climbing, national-level competition, and route setting.
